Located in the northwest region of Ohio, Findlay is city with a vibrant atmosphere. Findlay boasts a historic downtown, unique shopping and a variety of delicious dining options.
Findlay is also known as Flag City, USA. This designation stems from an idea from John B. Cooke in 1968. As a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Cooke believed in the value of flying the American flag and went door-to-door in town asking residents and businesses alike to fly a flag on Flag Day, June 14, 1968. In addition to its official designation as Flag City, USA, Findlay is also known for being a stop on the Underground Railroad!
There’s always something exciting to do in Findlay. You’ll find a variety of great annual activities, including the Riverside Wine Festival, Flag City Balloon Fest and the Hancock County Halloween Parade!
